ID-Check POS is a software application that runs on the
VeriFone Omni 3750 and the Vx 510 in conjunction with the
Intelli-Check DCM 2D high-speed bar code reader. It enables the
user to read, verify, parse, display and store the
machine-readable data encoded on Government issued IDs,
such as driver licenses, identification cards and military IDs.
While reading the data, the encoding format is verified to be in
compliance with the format specifications defined by the issuing
jurisdiction, thus adding an Intelli-Check patented process layer of
security to the ID reading process.
The terminal has an integrated, high-speed thermal printer that features
clam-shell design for effortless drop-in paper loading and virtually no
paper jams. The printer allows on demand by transaction paper
documentation to be printed verifying that the ID in question has been
processed.
The Intelli-Check ID Verification software allows the user to view
transaction data details such as name, age and address on the bright
sunlight readable display. The form-factor is a small, lightweight mobile
computer with a durable housing design.
